What about Exclusion?

There has been much talk of exclusion from – or in – the academy and the arts. But the term signifies different things to different people. For some, exclusion is a matter of ingrained structural, religious, or racial inequalities. For others, it is a case of incompatibility with prevailing norms. Conversely, the inclusion of some who feel excluded may result in the exclusion of others.
