'Opening the Angus' Seminars and Events

The Angus Library and Archive is the leading collection of Baptist history and heritage worldwide. It contains more than 70,000 items including printed texts, manuscripts, photographs and artefacts relating to the life and history of Baptists in Britain and wherever there has been a Baptist presence across the world.

The Friends of the Angus was formed to support the library and archive by highlighting the treasures of the collection and raising funds for conservation and digitisation work. Friends receive a quarterly newsletter as well as information regarding upcoming events including the ‘Opening the Angus’ seminars which are held every year in Spring and Autumn.

If you would like to join the Friends of the Angus, please email us to register your interest at mailto:fota@regents.ox.ac.uk. There is no membership fee. Instead, we ask that you consider giving a donation to the Angus conservation and digitization project. If you do not have access to email, please contact us by post addressed at FOTA at Regent’s Park College, Pusey Street, Oxford OX1 2LB.
