OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
The Linacre Lectures
The Linacre Lectures are a high-profile public lecture series centred around issues of environment and couched in an ethos of cross-disciplinary research. Linacre College, which was itself founded in the spirit of interdisciplinarity and which continues to be a vanguard in the movement to ‘green’ Oxford, has hosted this annual event since 1991. Year on year, leading academics from around the world are invited to tackle questions on current and pressing environmental concerns and share insights drawn from latest research.
