Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. New Directions in Caribbean History is a new seminar series that engages with the exciting and rapidly developing field of Caribbean history. The series takes an expansive view of the Caribbean including Hispanic, Francophone, Dutch, and Anglophone islands and includes work in progress and research papers that span the pre-colonial, colonial, and post-colonial Caribbean.
