OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed on the Staff Gateway and via email to identified OxTalks users.

TORCH: Immunity and the Humanities Programme
Programme Dates: 1 October 2025-30 September 2028 – PI: Alberto Giubilini
This Uehiro-Medical Humanities program – a collaboration between TORCH Medical Humanities and the Uehiro Oxford Institute – aims at deploying and developing new interdisciplinary, humanities-based methodologies to address key issues in public health, particularly regarding ethical connotations and societal perception of infectious diseases and of the medical, public health, and societal measures to tackle them.
