OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Charles Taylor and Phenomenology reading seminar
A series of reading seminars in MT ’25 – in person and online – on the role of phenomenology in the life and work of philosopher and social theorist Charles Taylor
The series originated in Gavin Flood’s long-standing Readings in Phenomenology group at the Oxford Centre for Hindu Studies.

Meetings will be lightly structured, with a mix of prepared remarks and free discussion. All are welcome.
A follow-on series is due to take place in HT ’26 with the title Charles Taylor and Hermeneutics.
