OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Sustainability Careers Week
Panel discussions and information sessions exploring career paths in sustainability.
With increased focus on sustainability and environmental issues, the number of opportunities to build an impactful career in this space is growing.
The range of employers that recruit for roles linked to sustainability span across the charity sector, public sector, private sector, and intergovernmental and international sector. This is because sustainability is a broad area that cuts across many employment sectors. The events that make up our Sustainability Careers Week will explore some of the sustainability careers paths that graduates could follow in conservation, policy, energy, food, development, policy, law, and beyond.
Below is the full list of online and in-person events for the Sustainability Careers Week, taking place from Monday 6 February until Friday 10 February 2023. All Oxford University students, researchers and alumni are welcome to attend.
