OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

African Studies Seminar
The African Studies Seminar is run by the African Studies Centre, where the MSc African Studies has run since 2004. The weekly Thursday seminars is where scholars and postdoctoral researchers in Oxford and from different parts of the world present their work. The Centre also regularly hosts prominent African statesmen, leaders, entrepreneurs, social activists, intellectuals, thinkers, scholars, writers, artistes, and others who are interested in Africa and African affairs.
