OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Green Templeton Lectures 2021
The Green Templeton Lectures is an annual series of lectures in Hilary Term in which speakers explore a given contemporary theme through a number of different perspectives, such as historical, political, educational or philosophical.
The 2021 lectures will be on ‘Navigating the COVID challenge’ and will be held in partnership with Franklin Templeton, as an extension of their academic partnership scheme in which the college is a current partner. Under this overall theme, the lectures will focus on different aspects, ranging from framing the coronavirus challenge to key lessons for recovery strategies to measuring the actual progress towards a better future these strategies deliver.
