On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.
If you have any questions, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
The format of the sessions is usually a 45 minute paper by an invited speaker exploring a topic and methodologies relevant to a range of subject disciplines followed by 15-20 minutes of discussion.
The seminars will be held at the Department for Continuing Education, Wellington Square, Oxford. OX1 2JA. Tea, coffee and cakes will be served before the sessions and the bar will be open in the Common-Room afterwards.
The convenors are Drs. Christine Jackson and Sandie Byrne. The seminars are open to all interested D.Phil., master’s and other postgraduate students and are intended to provide an opportunity not only to discuss recent research findings and methodological approaches but to meet with other students and academic staff.
