OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. This informal reading group will explore queer and trans themes in medieval texts—as well as the modern texts that draw inspiration from them. In Michaelmas, we’ll be thinking about how modern writers and artists have reimagined medieval queerness and transness, putting them in dialogue with some of the texts we explored in 2022-2023.
