Seminar on Reproducibility and Open Research

With a large proportion of groundbreaking research now lying on or near the already-blurring boundaries between disciplines, the urgency of interaction and open communication is becoming more and more apparent. This seminar series will serve to promote the idea of transparent, accessible, and reproducible research in the natural sciences, social sciences, and the humanities. Our speakers come from a variety of academic disciplines to discuss their open and reproducible research practices. The need for open access in research and scholarship transcends departmental and disciplinary boundaries, and this series will focus on how these general principles can be adopted and adapted by researchers in a diverse range of fields. We look forward to acting as a forum for researchers from across Oxford and beyond to share and build upon pre-existing open knowledge work.
