OxTalks is Changing
On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Humanities & Identities
With funding from the Vice-Chancellor’s Diversity Fund and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, TORCH’s Annual Headline Series for 2016-17 is Humanities & Identities. The series will focus on multiple research areas relating to diversity including race, gender, sexuality, disability, poverty, class, religion and inequality.
Humanities & Identities will bring together researchers, practitioners, policy-makers, creative thinkers and wider communities interested in forms of self-identity past, present and future. We welcome innovative ideas for projects from researchers working across the humanities and beyond on areas that link to diversity and inclusivity. Please get in touch with TORCH with your ideas at torch@humanities.ox.ac.uk.
