OxTalks is Changing
OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected to start before the end of Hilary Term to allow all future events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed on the Staff Gateway and via email to identified OxTalks users.

Public Health Humantiies at St Cross
Description: Public health affects and is defined by many dimensions of our being human that science and medicine cannot capture, as they raise questions about the relationship between health and our systems of beliefs, values, histories, and identities. To be adequately addressed, they require the different angles that the humanities disciplines can provide, ideally integrating their different perspectives. This seminar series wants to explore the way interdisciplinary dialogue within the humanities can address those types of questions.
For each seminar, there will be a talk and a commentary by two scholars from different humanities disciplines, before opening up for discussion.
You’re invited to stay for a drinks reception after each talk
