OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Semblance Productions is delighted to bring Stranger, Baby to the BT Studio in MT W4 – a riveting play on the themes of mothers and daughters, love and loss, and the sense of a splitting self.
Based on the powerful collection of poems by Forward Prize winning poet Emily Berry, Stranger, Baby portrays a daughter’s grief over losing her mother and the accompanying crumbling sense of selfhood in the isolation of her bereavement. The drama and intensity of our internal lives and often unspoken struggles is brought to life, through this authentic and compelling original adaptation by Maya Little.
