On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

In the seventh annual Julian Priestley Lecture, Jonathan Freedland explores how the evolving political landscape under Donald Trump demands a fundamental rethink of the UK´s relationship with Europe. With characteristic insight and clarity, Freedland examines the implications of America´s shifting global role and argues that the UK can no longer rely on traditional transatlantic assumptions. This lecture forms part of a series established in memory of Julian Priestley, former Secretary General of the European Parliament (1997 – 2007), honouring his deep commitment to the European ideal. This event is co-sponsored by the European Movement UK and features a drinks reception hosted by Baroness Royall, Principals of Somerville.
