Obesity is a global health problem that presents with many complications such as heart disease, diabetes and stroke. Professor Ana Domingos researches how the brain and the immune system control obesity. Ana will discuss her work on a subset of neurones that have the capacity to drive fat mass reduction and how her research can pave the way to the development of anti-obesity treatments.
