On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Wolfson alumna Chief Sydney Roberts will return to our stage as the Wolfson Role Model Series TT2021 speaker. Sydney Roberts is the Chief Administrator for the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) in Chicago, Illinois with full administrative investigative authority of officer involved shootings, deaths in custody or as a result of police action as well as complaints of excessive force, illegal search and seizure, domestic violence, denial of counsel, coercion and sex and race based verbal abuse. Roberts holds a BSc from the University of Delaware, a MSc in criminology from Wolfson College, University of Oxford and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law, Newark, NJ.
Wolfson’s President Sir Tim Hitchens will open the conversation and our very own Justine Bent, who holds a BSc in Criminal Justice and is currently reading for a MSc in African Studies at Wolfson College, will guide through the evening.
