OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
The Oxford-Harrington Rare Disease Centre Symposium will continue the established format of the Oxford Rare Disease Conference last held in 2019. It is an open-invitation, in-person event open to all in industry and academia with an interest in rare diseases. Speakers from industry, the Harrington Scholars network, Oxford researchers working on rare diseases and translational research, as well as international guests leading in rare disease therapeutics development will present their work. The format will provide networking opportunities, especially with industry representatives. The sessions will highlight the Centre’s priorities (covering two of its three research themes – neurology and oncology) and the partnerships it is building to achieve its goal of 20 drugs in clinical trials.
