The future of the equality act

Since its inception in 2010, the Equality Act has received calls for reform while simultaneously been threatened as a result of post-Brexit EU equality policy, which could leave many workers stripped of their fundamental rights. In this timely talk titled “The Future of the Equality Act”, The Principal of Mansfield College, Helen Mountfield KC, will be in conversation with Melanie Field, Chief Executive of the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), and Dr Suriyah Bi, Lecturer in Cultural Geography, and Founder of the Equality Act Review.

Open to University of Oxford staff and students only.

About Melanie Field:

Melanie Field is Chief Strategy and Policy Officer at the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
