On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

Many researchers may wish to continue conducting research, but move away from working within academia. Luckily, research conducted in many sectors beyond academia, and research skills are valued and sought by employers. In some cases, roles may be clearly presented as research-oriented, while others may not have job titles that clearly show their research focus.
This session provides an overview of how to find research jobs available beyond academia, share tools for discovering individuals who have entered your sector of interest, and briefly share how to assess how your experience maps onto the requirements of advertised job roles.
This session will focus on roles beyond academia only.
