OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Elizabeth Macneal and Jess Kidd will be appearing at Waterstones on Thursday 19th March at 7pm to discuss their fantastic novels ‘The Doll Factory’ and ‘Things in Jars’.
Elizabeth’s ‘The Doll Factory’ was undoubtedly one of the biggest fiction debuts of 2019 and was received with great acclaim. The novel is darkly and deeply atmospheric and explores the themes of art, obsession and new beginnings.
Jess’ ‘Things in Jars’ is an enchanting Victorian detective novel which explores what it means to be human in inhumane times. The novel is full of twists and turns and has been delighting readers everywhere!
