OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
The Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) programme is an innovative four-year DPhil/PhD programme
supported by the Biotechnology and Biosciences Research Council (BBSRC) that aims to equip a new generation of researchers with the skills,
insight and knowledge needed to tackle the most important challenges in bioscience research.
The programme is led by the University of Oxford, in partnership with six world-class research organisations: The Pirbright Institute, Oxford
Brookes University, Diamond Light Source, ISIS Neutron Source, STFC Central Laser Facility, and the Research Complex at Harwell.
The course admits students from both a life and physical science background who wish to conduct fundamental and applied bioscience research.
Research areas include Integrative Plant and Animal Biology, Mechanistic Molecular and Cellular Bioscience, Animal Health and Welfare, Crop
Science, Biotechnology and Bioenergy.
To find out more about the Oxford Interdisciplinary Bioscience DTP and the Doctoral Training Centre come along to the Open Day!
DTP Directors and students currently on course will give presentations on the programme and application procedures followed by a networking
session with DTP staff and students.
