OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
University of Oxford, the Open University, Oxford Brookes and Reading Universities are jointly hosting a conference on 19 April 2018 at St Anne’s College, Oxford on the topic of research impact, open to members of the four host universities.
This free one-day conference aims to examine these questions and more. The conference will celebrate engaged and impactful research in the social sciences, and provide inspiration and support for researchers hoping to make a difference through their work.
The conference is aimed at researchers of all career stages (including DPhil/PhD students, research staff and academics) and the professional colleagues who support them. The programme will comprise a mixture of invited external speakers and session leaders, contributors from the four host universities and external non-academic partner organisations.
This event is free to attend and is brought to you through the generous support of the University of Oxford ESRC Impact Acceleration Account with in kind support from the four partner universities.
