Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
This 1-hour hybrid meeting is open to any staff or students of University of Oxford or any of its constituent colleges who want to learn more about the University and College Union, the recognised trade union for academic and research-related staff. We’ll review what a trade union is, why we need one, who the UCU is, what we do, how organising in our workplace can be an effective way to bring about social change, and how you can get involved in your local branch.
