OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

Professor Alex Green studied medicine at University College London qualifying MB BS in 1997. He obtained a first class honours in Neurosciences (intercalated) in 1994. After house jobs and a basic surgical rotation in the West Midlands, he entered Neurusurgical training in London then Oxford from 2002-2009. He completed a MD degree in Oxford in the role of the periaqueductal grey area in autonomic control during this time. Professor Green became a consultant neurosurgeon in 2009. He is currently president of the British Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (BSSFN).
The Chief Medical Officer has confirmed that attendance at the Surgical Grand Rounds can count toward internal CPD, with 1 point awarded per hour. Please note that in-person attendance is required, and you will need to sign the attendance register.
All members of the University and NHS clinical staff are welcome.
