Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Once Oxford Events launches, you will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Registration is now open for the University of Oxford LGBT+ Staff Network’s event marking LGBT+ History Month: This panel discussion will focus on the evolving meanings of the word “queer”, including its historical usage, political reclamation, and contemporary significance within academic and social contexts. We are pleased to have the event opened by Oxford University’s Chief Diversity Officer, Professor Tim Soutphommasane, and we will then be joined on the panel by Dr Mori Reithmayr, Professor Charlotte Ross, Elliot Koubis, and Dr Tamsin Blaxter. Come to join the discussion, stay for free drinks!
