Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. I did my PhD in the lab of Stefano Di Talia at Duke University where I studied the early syncytial nuclear divisions and how they are synchronized. For my postdoc I moved on to IMP Vienna in 2019 to the lab of Andrea Pauli where I now study the molecular mechanisms of gamete binding and fusion in zebrafish
