Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
Join us for the next Leadership in Extraordinary Times event of 2021: Digital platforms: Saints or sinners?
From social media to entertainment and to commerce, digital platforms touch our daily lives in myriad ways. One might say that the world now runs on exchanges of all kinds of things via digital platforms. But are they always good for business and society? Or is there a darker side to the platform economy?
Join Oxford Saïd faculty experts Cammy Crolic, Pinar Ozcan, Felipe Thomaz, and Andrew Stephen for a discussion of the pros and cons of digital platforms and an answer to the question of whether they are saints or sinners in our world.
This is a free event, and booking is not required. For information on how to join us live, go to:

Visit Oxford Answers to watch the recording later, and to view all of our past events.
