Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Jenny Andersson has been a scholar with the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and a researcher at Sciences Po in Paris, but is now Professor of the History and Science at Uppsala University, Sweden. She has worked on the intellectual history of contemporary social democracy, and the history of future research and concepts of the future in the post-war era. Her most recent book, The Future of the World, was devoted to the post-war field of ‘futurology’ and ‘futures studies’. She is currently leading an international project on ‘Neoliberalism in the Nordics’ and is working on a book on Swedish neoliberalism.
