A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia. The occurrence of disease is largely driven by the apolipoprotein E gene. The disease is characterized by amyloid and tau aggregation in the brain. The seminar discusses the growing evidence of peripheral pathology including the vascular system and the gut-liver-brain axis.
