2026 Hilary Term Campion Lecture: 1758 - The Secret History of a Papal Election

Professor Jane Stevenson is a Senior Research Fellow at Campion Hall, Oxford, and a member of the English Faculty. She studied Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic at the University of Cambridge, and has previously held academic posts at the universities of Cambridge, Sheffield, Warwick, and Aberdeen, where she was Regius Professor of Humanity. She is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries.
