A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Sophy Roberts is a writer based in West Dorset. An alumni of the Kellogg College Centre for Creative Writing, she is also a graduate of Oxford University and the Columbia School of Journalism. Sophy is a regular contributor on travel conservation issues to The Financial Times, among other titles. Sophy’s writing focuses on remote places, from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Chad, to Tajikistan and Russia. Her critically acclaimed first book, The Lost Pianos of Siberia, was published in 2020.
