OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.

Sir Christopher Clark is Regius Professor of History at the University of Cambridge. He is best known as author of Iron Kingdom: The Rise and Downfall of Prussia 1600-1947, which won the Wolfson History Prize, and of Sleepwalkers: How Europe went to War in 1914. He is the editor of Culture-Wars: Secular-Catholic conflict in Nineteenth Century Europe. Professor Clark has a longstanding interest in international Protestantism, state-church relations and the Christian mission to the Jews, which was the subject of his first book The Politics of Conversion.
