During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. Sir Christopher Clark is Regius Professor of History at the University of Cambridge. He is best known as author of Iron Kingdom: The Rise and Downfall of Prussia 1600-1947, which won the Wolfson History Prize, and of Sleepwalkers: How Europe went to War in 1914. He is the editor of Culture-Wars: Secular-Catholic conflict in Nineteenth Century Europe. Professor Clark has a longstanding interest in international Protestantism, state-church relations and the Christian mission to the Jews, which was the subject of his first book The Politics of Conversion.
