Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The Oxford Philosophy, Law, and Politics (PLP) Colloquium is an interdisciplinary colloquium series that brings together theorists from philosophy, law, politics, and beyond to discuss works-in-progress by distinguished scholars.
The next PLP Colloquium is coming up on Friday 26 May, with Prof. Jonathan Wolff (BSG), engaging with Jeremy Waldron (NYU).
Jeremy Waldron teaches legal and political philosophy at NYU School of Law. Until recently, he was also Chichele Professor of Social and Political Theory at Oxford University (All Souls College). A prolific scholar, Waldron has written extensively on jurisprudence and political theory, including numerous books and articles on theories of rights, constitutionalism, the rule of law, democracy, property, torture, security, homelessness, and the philosophy of international law.
