Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The COVID 19 Pandemic has dramatically impacted the societies where these communities of migrants are trying to settle. What have been the consequences for these communities? What are the indicators used to assess the situation? Considering the related challenges that towns and cities, as well as regional authorities, are now facing, is there a consistent way to address these issues?
