Join speaker Edmund Sutcliffe for a talk on sustainable food, farming and cattle.
We will be discussing:
The Definition of Regenerative Agriculture
The Principles behind Ecosystem Regeneration
How to Measure Regeneration
Why Cattle are the Ultimate Regenerators
Speaker Edmund Sutcliffe is a 3rd generation farmer raising grass-fed outwintered cattle on his family farm in Hampshire. While studying Chemistry at Oxford he was intrigued by root exudates and humic compounds in soil, leading him down the rabbit hole of Permaculture, Holistic Management and Regenerative Agriculture. After a series of internships and courses he took on the family farm in 2020. He has transformed the farm in a few short years, planting herbal leys on all the arable land, converting to Organic, using Holistic Planned Grazing to regenerate the grassland and measuring the results with Ecological Outcome Verification.
