Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
All staff are invited to the HT23 meeting of the Digital Education Technologies User Group on Thursday 9 March, 10.30am-12noon on Teams.
The meeting will include updates on Oxford’s ‘big 5’ digital education tools (Canvas, Panopto, ORLO, Teams and Inspera), as well as the following presentations about the University’s new Digital Education Strategy and the related funded projects currently underway:
- Taking the Digital Education Strategy forward through Digital Transformation, including what’s next
- Update on funded projects underway: Digital skills project, E-assessment project, Physical spaces project, Canvas enhancements/ITE2 (Inclusive Teaching Enhancements) project.
