Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. From now until the launch of Oxford Events, new events cannot be published or edited on OxTalks while all existing records are migrated to the new platform. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period.
From 16th, Oxford Events will launch on a new website: events.ox.ac.uk, and event submissions will resume. You will need a Halo login to submit events. Full details are available on the Staff Gateway.
The Library, All Souls College will hold an Open Morning for Oxford students on Wednesday, 6 March, 10:00-13:00.
The Library at All Souls College is, like all Oxford college libraries, an independent institution. Unlike most other college libraries, however, current members of the University of Oxford and other researchers are welcome to apply to join the Library as Readers (www.asc.ox.ac.uk/applications); this applies to both undergraduates and graduates, as well as to fellows, tutors, and researchers from other colleges, departments, and institutions. Find out more here: www.asc.ox.ac.uk/the-library
With collections in history, in particular mililtary and naval, as well as British and French, the library may be beneficial to you so come along to the Open Morning and see for yourself. There are no charges or other requirements, except that you bring your University card with you.
