OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
Join us for the launch of our Summer ’22 issue at the Jam Factory on Thursday June 9, 7:30pm-10pm!
Be the first to view the latest issue, purchase a copy and meet the writers and editors from the team behind Oxford’s leading cultural review.
We will have several special guests throughout the evening, and will be announcing them over the coming days.
The issue includes reviews of latest releases by Elif Batuman and Ocean Vuong, interviews with Maggie Hambling, Ruth Ozeki, and Jacqueline Rose, and essays on the future of work and Kaminsky’s poetry of slowness (among countless other great essays!).
