On 28th November OxTalks will move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events' (full details are available on the Staff Gateway).
There will be an OxTalks freeze beginning on Friday 14th November. This means you will need to publish any of your known events to OxTalks by then as there will be no facility to publish or edit events in that fortnight. During the freeze, all events will be migrated to the new Oxford Events site. It will still be possible to view events on OxTalks during this time.

TORCH is delighted to invite attendees to the workshop ‘National Bards in Comparative Perspective’ on Saturday 16 November.
Many nations are built on the cults of one or more national bards, from Virgil and Ferdowsi, to Shota Rustaveli and Nguyễn Du. Most bards preside over alleged golden ages: the Elizabethan Age for Shakespeare, “the Golden Century” for Cervantes and Camões, and “the Golden Age of Russian literature” for Pushkin, among others. The workshop, led by TORCH International Fellow, Professor Yuri Slezkine from UC Berkeley, will attempt to establish some connections and regularities.
Attendance is free and lunch will be provided. For full details and registration link, please see the TORCH event details at torch.ox.ac.uk/event/national-bards-in-comparative-perspective
