Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. The War and Peace at Oxford Seminar
The event is expected to increase awareness about the need for the UN to refocus its mission and retool itself to address increased incidence of intra-State conflict. The discussion is also expected to bring forward new tools and ideas for the Council in designing mandates, and for the Secretariat in designing peace operations.
