AllBright x New College, Oxford: Succeeding As A Female Entrepreneur

Tune in for a very special live-streamed event live from AllBright Mayfair, in partnership with New College, Oxford, as we recognise and celebrate some of the talented female alumnae entrepreneurs. The panel will feature some of the most inspiring stories from the college’s entrepreneurial alumnae.

Moderated by AllBright co-founder, Debbie Wosskow OBE, Anna Bateson, Justine Roberts and Tania Boler will speak about some of the highs and lows of building a business.

Panel includes:

Tania Boler (1995, Experimental Psychology) founded Elvie in 2013 to create world-class technology to address neglected health issues faced by women throughout their lives. Elvie has just completed a £70m Series C funding round to facilitate geographic expansion and develop its product portfolio.

Justine Roberts (PPE, 1986) is the founder of Mumsnet, the hugely influential online forum for parents. Created in 2000, the website now attracts more than a billion pageviews per year from in excess of 100 million unique users.

Anna Bateson (1990) held senior roles at the Guardian and Google before becoming CEO of beauty start-up Josh Wood Colour in 2020. Josh Wood is a rapidly expanding business in the hair colour market, seeing sales increase by more than 2500% in 2020-21.

Debbie Wosskow, OBE, is a serial entrepreneur. In 2017 she sold Love Home Swap (launched in 2011) for $53m and went on to found Allbright, a club and community celebrating and connecting women at work.
