Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. All are welcome to this interdisciplinary roundtable discussion, as part of Prof Gostin’s Visiting Astor Lectureship in the Medical Humanities, ‘Global Health Emergencies: From Ebola and Covid-19 to Monkeypox’. Speakers will discuss planning for and responses to global health emergencies, drawing on a range of disciplinary expertise. Attendance is free but registration is required.
