Measuring Carbon: The Maths Behind Climate Change

Ever wondered how to calculate the carbon footprint of a government policy? How about a company?

Join us for our first talk of Trinity Term to hear from Joanna Read on ‘Measuring Carbon: The Maths Behind Climate Change’. Joanna is an environmental consultant at RSK, specialising in Environmental Impact Assessments, which are increasingly taking climate change adaptation into account.

Joanna is also the international outreach officer for the UK Youth Climate Coalition and was elected as the focal point for the global north for YOUNGO for 2017, at COP22 in Marrakech. YOUNGO is the UNFCCC observer constituency of youth NGOs and Joanna will share her experiences representing youth voices on the biggest stage of international climate diplomacy.

The event is free and will be held in the Oxford Hub events space (up the stairs at Turl Street Kitchen, first door on the left), starting at 6.00pm on Monday 24 April.
