A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. Pragna Patel is a founding member and Director of the Southall Black Sisters (SBS) and Women Against Fundamentalism. She trained and practised as a solicitor and has spoken and published widely on race, gender and religion. She will speak at this seminar about her own experiences of becoming a black feminist activist in Britain, and will reflect on how race, class, politics and education continue to influence women’s lives and opportunities in the UK and beyond.
