Oxford Events, the new replacement for OxTalks, will launch on 16th March. The two-week OxTalks freeze period starts on Monday 2nd March. During this time, there will be no facility to publish or edit events. The existing OxTalks site will remain available to view during this period. 2024 marks 60 years since the renowned crystallographer Dorothy Hodgkin won her Nobel Prize for Science, becoming the only British woman ever to do so. We could not be more proud than to welcome the University of Oxford’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Irene Tracey, as our speaker on this special occasion, which also coincides with International Women’s Day and the Somerville College Foundation Day.
Prof Tracey will give her lecture on ‘Seeing Pain: A Window on the Human Brain through Neuroimaging’.
