The event is organised by the ECR Network of the ZERO Institute, University of Oxford, aiming to foster connections between academic researchers and industry professionals, towards net-zero and decarbonisation. IMAD2025 seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry by helping researchers better understand industrial priorities, while offering companies fresh perspectives on research-driven solutions to real-world challenges. Topics will include solar, nuclear, wind and hydropower, battery technologies, metal recycling, and relevant policy and regulation. The programme will feature a keynote speech, presentations by academic and industry fellows (Morning: 11:20–12:05 | Afternoon: 12:30–14:00), poster sessions over lunch, 5-minute lightning talks, and a panel Q&A to encourage dialogue and collaboration.
