OxTalks will soon move to the new Halo platform and will become 'Oxford Events.' There will be a need for an OxTalks freeze. This was previously planned for Friday 14th November – a new date will be shared as soon as it is available (full details will be available on the Staff Gateway).
In the meantime, the OxTalks site will remain active and events will continue to be published.
If staff have any questions about the Oxford Events launch, please contact halo@digital.ox.ac.uk
The event is organised by the ECR Network of the ZERO Institute, University of Oxford, aiming to foster connections between academic researchers and industry professionals, towards net-zero and decarbonisation. IMAD2025 seeks to bridge the gap between academia and industry by helping researchers better understand industrial priorities, while offering companies fresh perspectives on research-driven solutions to real-world challenges. Topics will include solar, nuclear, wind and hydropower, battery technologies, metal recycling, and relevant policy and regulation. The programme will feature a keynote speech, presentations by academic and industry fellows (Morning: 11:20–12:05 | Afternoon: 12:30–14:00), poster sessions over lunch, 5-minute lightning talks, and a panel Q&A to encourage dialogue and collaboration. Please email qiance.zhang@eng.ox.ac.uk and anastasiia.rudkovska@hmc.ox.ac.uk if you have any queries.
