In the current moment, as universities across the world reconsider their ethical investment policies in relation to calls from students and academics for divestment from armament, what might we learn from the largest and oldest scholarly body in the US to endorse a boycott of complicit Israeli academic institutions? How do we consider this resolution, passed three months before October 2023, now over a year and a half later? What are the challenges, responsibilities, and tools that members of institutions of higher education have now?
