OxTalks will soon be transitioning to Oxford Events (full details are available on the Staff Gateway). A two-week publishing freeze is expected in early Hilary to allow all events to be migrated to the new platform. During this period, you will not be able to submit or edit events on OxTalks. The exact freeze dates will be confirmed as soon as possible.

‘1968’ opened up an imaginative space beyond the local and national in addressing the structure of the global market. This workshop discusses the connection between ‘fair trade’ and 1968: rise of fair trade activism, the demise of its hopes for radically transforming the global marketplace, and the ways in which this initial impulse was transformed into new alternative visions of a fair global marketplace.
